Another structure commonly used for cutting steel – laser welding saw blade, which is called road saw blade. As the name suggests, it is used to cut roads. The diameter of the saw blade is between 250-1200mm. This kind of saw blade adopts the method of laser welding, and the high-temperature resistant cutter head is welded on the saw blade through laser welding. The cutting ability is strong, so this type of saw blade can cut steel bars, especially for reinforced concrete, which has a good cutting effect.
There is also a type of saw blade that belongs to vacuum brazing diamond saw blades. This type of saw blade has different diamond fixation methods, so the maximum performance during the cutting process is fast. Although the cutting performance is relatively strong, it is not suitable for high hardness steel.
Secondly, the diamond saw blade head used for cutting iron also needs to be specially customized. For example, it needs to be adjusted based on wear resistance, diamond concentration, and diamond grade. For example, finer diamond particles are needed to increase the concentration of diamond and improve hardness. Then the steel can be cut.
In addition, diamond saw blades need to cut steel and the shape of the segments must be adjusted. At present, single sided corrugated tooth saw blades are widely used in road cutting saw blades. This shape of segment can greatly improve the sharpness of the saw blade, but it has extremely high requirements for the wear resistance and impact resistance of the matrix. Otherwise, the segment can easily fall off or consume too quickly, leading to cutting problems.
Finally, when cutting steel, we must pay attention to the changes in the cutting performance of the saw blade and continuously adjust the cutting speed. After the problem is solved, continue cutting. During the process of cutting steel, it is necessary to control the length of a single cut to prevent the saw blade from overheating.
Generally speaking, it is not recommended to use diamond saw blades for long-term cutting of steel.
